Position Description – India Business Unit Position: Channel Sales Manager Reports to: India BU Head/ South Asia MD Key relationships: Country Sales Manager, Business Process Consultants, Global On Demand Team, Sales Admin, Consultants, Customer Support, Pre Sales Consultants, India Services Manager, India F&A Direct Reports: ./.None POSITION PURPOSE Define and execute a clear channel strategy with the intent to generate revenue by selling the company’sproducts and/or services through indirect sales channels, such as original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), value added resellers (VARs), retailers, dealers, or distributors. May perform some channel marketing activities and serve as a liaison to channel partners with regards to any sales-related service and support issues. Resolve issues and contribute to the business unit/area development. Responsibilities: (60% of the time – Daily tasks, Essential to function) · Drive the company’s Product and/or Services Revenue though indirect sales channels according to quarterly and annual targets · Personally play a lead role in the Sales area of the channel business, being directly involved in all significant opportunities and ensuring that the strategy and tactics employed maximize the opportunity for our partners and us to win each deal · Assist channel partners with preparation of quotations, sales proposals using standard pricing and observing the company’s processes and methodologies · Ensure that partner / clients are satisfied with the company’s product and services (20% of the time – Monthly tasks, Essential to function) · Develop channel strategies which significantly increase the company’s’s indirect market share and gross profit including the development of sales objectives and the development and implementation of strategies to achieve these objectives · Recruit the right channel partners for the company PAN India · Enable the channel business to evolve from opportunity selling and product implementation to true strategic long -term engagements Competencies for the position · Devising Sales Approaches and Solutions, · Expanding and Advancing Opportunities, · Business Acumen, · Analytical Thinking, · Building Trust, · Communication,
