Regional Sales Manager – New Media Location : Based at Mumbai looking after Western region’s New Media operations Designation : Regional Sales Manager – New Media KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & Profile: Experience : 10 - 15 years and 3 -4 years at least at a Senior Management role. Academic Qualifications: Engineering Graduate desirable. Postgraduate - Business Administration, Marketing Level : Band 2 Senior Manager / Chief Manager Industry Background: Content Licensing/ Aggregation to Telcos or sectors like TV/ Radio desirable Telcom VAS, Content Alliances, Business Development and New Media Sales. Job Description • The ideal candidate would be a blend of passionate tech & gadget person and sharp business manager. • Should have a passion for Digital sales • Prospecting suitable alliances for business development and building coalitions and strategic partnerships • To set up Digital Distribution for Reliance Home Video & Games Content • Responsible for business development and revenue generation through content licensing • Strategizing and implementation: brand building, new product launches, customer acquisition initiatives, trade schemes, customer retention programs and plans/ loyalty programs and co-promotions. • Responsible for collating marketing intelligence, data analytics and advising supervisors/ senior management on the same • To Monetize content & add new areas on mobile ,internet platforms • Managing relationships and increase business with key accounts & other existing client base • Coordinate the necessary technical and support resources to enable sales growth and excellent customer service. • Responsible for overall business growth and meeting of aggressive sales targets. • Responsible for all business development, marketing, promotions and alliance activities with the view to increase consumption and therefore market share of content in relevant vertical/ geographical market • Responsible for the overall business in South region including P&L, Budgeting and planning.
